Best Day Ever is a FREE all-day curated experience for 50 incredibly lucky Seattle residents. Guests spend 6 hours experiencing a truly immersive day in a specific Seattle Neighborhood.
Each Best Day Ever Event will include the following:
Service – Volunteerism and community-led projects
Movement – Neighborhood walks, dance, or fitness experiences
Learning – Storytelling, heritage sharing, and cultural education
Gathering – Shared meals hosted by local small businesses
Connection – Facilitated reflection and relationship-building

Welcome to the Best Day Ever from Seattle Mayor, Katie Wilson
Co-created by the Department of Neighborhoods (DON) and the Seattle Chamber of Connection (SCoC), Best Day Ever events strengthen civic belonging by bringing people, place, and purpose together. Guided by DON’s Community Engagement Framework and the Chamber’s Six Points of Connection, this initiative uplifts community leadership and honors the histories, creativity, and cultural assets that make each neighborhood unique.
The 2026 program encompasses seven events throughout the year— one in each of Seattle’s seven districts. Our first event took place on March 21, 2026 in South Park, in partnership with Cultivate South Park and other community partners:
Our second Best Day Ever Event was on May 30th in Downtown Seattle.
Best Day Ever is a FREE all-day curated experience for 50 incredibly lucky Seattle residents. Our upcoming Best Day Ever on May 30th will begin at ArtLove Salon, one of Seattle’s coolest galleries and artist residencies. Guests will spend 6 hours experiencing a truly immersive day downtown.
Each Best Day Ever Event will include the following:
Service – Volunteerism and community-led projects
Movement – Neighborhood walks, dance, or fitness experiences
Learning – Storytelling, heritage sharing, and cultural education
Gathering – Shared meals hosted by local small businesses
Connection – Facilitated reflection and relationship-building

Every attendee must be registered, 12 years or older, and able to attend for the full day from 10am - 4pm. Space is limited, so please update your RSVP if you are no longer able to attend.
